L. Kent Wyatt is a member of the firm's Business Litigation and Transactional Department. He provides experienced counsel to business owners and executives in negotiations, litigation and transactions related to their business needs. He litigates in both state and federal courts in the areas of real estate, corporations, contracts and general business matters. His transactional practice includes negotiating and documenting real estate transfers, business transfers, forming business entities, preparing leases and drafting general business contracts. Mr. Wyatt also practices bankruptcy law, typically representing creditors.

Mr. Wyatt is actively involved in alternative dispute resolution, both as a mediator and as an arbitrator. He serves as a judge pro tem for the Sacramento County Superior Court; as a mediator for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California; as an early neutral evaluator for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California and as an arbitrator for the Sacramento County Superior Court.
